Of course he will be there when we present our application to the european jury in Berlin.

Ferenc Csák is CEO of the Chemnitz Department of Culture and heads the application process. He thus keeps an eye on the long-term cultural strategy for all creative initiatives launched by urban communities and cultural institutions, ensures the financing of Chemnitz2025 and the establishment of sustainable management structures for the cultural development of the city as well as shaping the Capital of Culture year. He came to Chemnitz after resigning the General Directorate of the Hungarian National Gallery in Budapest in 2012 for political reasons. As State Secretary for Culture in the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture (2006–2010), he was the government official for the European Capital of Culture 2010 in Pécs.
